SCHOOL NURSE
Enemy Swim Day School is seeking a caring, dedicated, and qualified School Nurse to support the health, safety, and well-being of our students and school community. Responsibilities include: Provide student health services, first aid, and emergency care. Maintain student health records and immunization documentation. Monitor student illnesses and injuries and communicate health concerns to administrators, staff, and parents. Coordinate student health screenings, health fairs, and educational presentations. Promote student wellness through health education, disease prevention, and collaboration with families and community health professionals. Qualifications: Current South Dakota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Valid CPR/First Aid certification. Valid driver’s license. Knowledge of school and community health issues, strong child advocacy skills, and a commitment to promoting a healthy, drug-and alcohol-free lifestyle. Must pass a wellness screening in accordance with school personnel policy. Duties include assisting in the classroom, assisting teaching staff, working with Special Education staff, reporting and other duties. Must have post-secondary education, an AA degree or equivalent or successfully pass the ParaPro Assessment. ESDS can assist with ParaPro Assessment preparation, if needed.
